Bead Sculpture Awards

Bead embroidery sculptures are 3 dimensional pieces (i.e. not framed) that have fabric as a base, and then have beads and more embroidered on them with needle and thread.  For two of these, I’ve created a new fabric from dying and then machine embellishing roving onto the surface.

I have created three sculptures so far.  To view bigger images, description of the process and in process photos, click on the photos.
